The brainchild of critically acclaimed Australian performance maker, Deborah Leiser-Moore, Tashmadada aims to be a centre for discussion and engagement in arts practice - using theatre and the arts to articulate the multiplicity of voices and cultural traditions. As a director, teacher and performer Leiser-Moore has toured both nationally and internationally.

Joining Leiser-Moore in developing Tashmadada are Richard Zimmermann, Leah Kaminsky and Sally Smith.

Zimmermann,a former actor, spent several years in New Zealand and Australia producing shows, managing bands and nurturing and promoting talented local artists. Leah Kaminsky is a widely published writer and poet. Sally Smith is a trained dancer and choreographer who brings to the company her extensive knowledge of the performing world.
